My work thus far has been on crowd robotics. Crowd Robotics is the domain of using a real-time crowd to influence the path of a robot.
My initial work has been on using a crowd to vote on the direct control of a robot. In this experiment, the robot exists in a simulated environment, in which the goal was to direct the robot to move through the hoops. Users are asked to tap the arrow keys to vote on a direction they wish to move, and through a number of various voting mechanisms the robot reaches a consensus and will then move in that direction.
